Matsu Valley Delivery Service

Written by TheChildrensLunchbox. Posted in 2011

On December 18th The Children’s Lunchbox began delivery service at our first Matanuska Valley location! We have partnered with the Boys & Girls club in Wasilla and are in the process of making improvements to the kitchen space at their facility. Once complete, our staff will be working full time there providing healthy meals to programs and children in the MatSu Valley.

We would gratefully welcome any donations of time/materials to assist with the kitchen remodel and/or opening!

Dec 14

We began delivering meals to our new MatSu valley location

We’re working to get quotes to upgrade the kitchen space at the Boys & Girls club out there so that we can staff the kitchen space and start providing services to the youth of the valley.

We could really use donations of items for that upgrade:

  • three compartment sink
  • hand washing sink
  • commercial appliances
  • kitchen basics necessary for start-up
  • spices
  • food storage
  • utensils
  • etc

Dec 21

Starbright Learning Center delivered 139lbs of food from their food drive.

Costco donated over 80lbs of food items.
